Mission Statement
Providing hope and education through shared family service
Provide and serve—these are both action words that require work, and we intend to work with our hands, heads, and hearts, not just our checkbooks. Shared service generates camaraderie, connection, and community, among the Wheelwright family and among the human family, because nothing matters more than the love of family.
Goals and Strategies
We will accomplish our mission by pursuing two primary goals and employing two basic strategies:
GOAL #1: EMPOWER OTHERS
We will empower others to improve their quality of life by working to provide education, training, and opportunities through partnerships with quality organizations demonstrating proven success records.
GOAL #2: LOVE and UNITY
We will strengthen love and unity among our immediate and extended family as we work and serve together for worthy causes.
STRATEGY #1: LOCAL OPPORTUNITIES
We will support and improve our local communities through our commitment to ongoing philanthropic opportunities and volunteerism, creating lasting relationships and long-term effects.
STRATEGY #2: INTENSIVE GROUP EFFORT
We will unite periodically as an extended family in an intensive, short-term endeavor to benefit a community with broad and deep needs.
