MISSION/FOCUS: Fight the New Drug exists to provide individuals the opportunity to make an informed decision regarding pornography by raising awareness on its harmful effects using only science, facts, and personal accounts.
SUMMARY OF WHAT THIS ORGANIZATION AIMS TO ACCOMPLISH: Fight the New Drug uses peer-reviewed research through creative mediums to demonstrate how pornography negatively affects the brain, the heart, and the world. They particularly target teens and young adults through highly creative uses of social media; they also make presentations at schools around the world to both students and their parents, and are currently undertaking a major project of producing three high-quality videos to be packaged and sold (or scholarshipped) to schools to use for presentations and repeatedly in their health classes. Though Fight the New Drug is a non-profit organization, they recently created a for-profit branch called Fortify that assists in overcoming addiction to pornography and is proving to be a highly effective and sought after treatment.
